For the Open Water SwiMetrics measures and records your velocity (speed) at every point in your swimming stroke. This data is overlaid on an underwater video and objectively identifies the necessary areas of improvement in your swimming stroke. For open water swimmers, SwiMetrics also measures and records your velocity (speed) when you lift your head to navigate or sight during a race. This data can help you improve your efficiency during navigation and sighting, saving significant time and effort over any open water swim. SwiMetrics also measures and compares drag forces between different swim suits or wetsuits. This measurement helps you make an educated decision on what swim suit or wetsuit is best for you. You can be tested with SwiMetrics at your home pool before, during or after your workout. SwiMetrics is also occasionally offered at age-group and masters swim meets, camps and clinics.
